This is creative woman I silently admire. Juhi Kalia. Don’t be mistaken with her beauty. She’s very experienced and (unfortunately) not young anymore. She started all of this since 20 years ago as a writer. Now, she is a respected Art Director.
Juhi Kalia grew up in big advertising agencies like Lowe, McCann, Ogilvy and JWT. She has lead teams and headed offices for JWT and Saatchi in India and Indonesia, before Singapore. Juhi Kalia now manages the worldwide brand development and creative for Unilever’s Lux and Friesland Campina’s Friso business, and counting.
I know Juhi Kalia as someone with great intensity and energy. Specializes in creative strategy, transmedia ideas, creative use of media, engagement, film, outdoor, cause marketing and activism, Juhi Kalia has a natural flair for presentation and storytelling.
Juhi Kalia’s awards are the first ever Cannes metal for any agency from Indonesia, Agency of the Year multiple times, Creative Director of the year, Numerous golds, silvers and bronzes at Cannes, Spikes, Adfest, CCA and recently the radio Grand Prix at Spikes for one of JWT’s oldest clients – Lux. Most of her wins have been on big accounts like Sunsilk, HSBC, Panasonic and Listerine.
Juhi Kalia was also one of the judges at Citra Pariwara (Indonesia), Young Spikes and CCA (Singapore).
Beside keeps up the good campaigns, Juhi Kalia has also a passion for mentoring. She has spoken at Award School Asia, Ngee Aan Poly, Marketing to Women Seminar and INSEAD. Juhi Kalia has attended The Sam Meek Leadership Program, Hyper Island Master Class, Screenplay Writing and Tone of Voice Workshops too.
